TotalEnergies Lubrifiants reinforces its position with its innovative new bottle

Montréal, April 22, 2022 – Since 2020, TotalEnergies lubricants’ new bottle has been unveiled, in order to offer an optimal level of efficiency and innovation: new shape, new labels, new colors. Today, after a successful implementation, TotalEnergies in Canada emphasizes the innovative characteristics of the bottle available on the national market.

A bottle at the cutting edge of innovation

It is a new vision of daily performance that is offered to you in 1L and 5L formats:

  • A new color coding: Buyers can then zoom in on the product they need by checking the new label, which is much clearer and easier to read in three colors, consistent in all markets, which highlights the product’s premium quality.  Platinum for top-tier, Silver for mid-tier and Bronze for entry range products.
  • A new concept inspired by dashboards to showcase the unique label design: Launch of a new label inspired by car dashboards, with panels displaying the marketing and technical information of the product, including the viscosity, manufacturer approvals and a QR code that can be used to confirm the product’s authenticity in a flash.
  • More precision, less oil loss: No more splashing or leaking when pouring your lubricant. The plugs have been redesigned for simple and efficient use.
  • Ergonomic handle: The new side handle has been redesigned to facilitate transport and pouring of the product.

“We are proud to bring added value to TotalEnergies customers across the country by offering our upgraded lubricants packaging. TotalEnergies in Canada is transforming and will continue to transform by offering innovative and efficient solutions that consolidate our position in the market” - Delphine Persouyre, President of TotalEnergies Marketing Canada.

Beyond these design developments, the Lubricants division of TotalEnergies contributes to the Company's ambition to offer ever cleaner energy, which is reflected in particular by a reduction in the weight of bottles making it possible to prevent the global emission of 9,500 tons of CO2 equivalent* each year owing to raw material savings.
